2 photosAmtico herringbone through an open-plan kitchen
Amtico LVT laid in herringbone right through a kitchen and dining space, tight to the island and the doorways.
Running the planks on the angle makes a narrow hall feel wider and gives the floor some life. It also means every edge is a cut, so the setting out has to be right before the first plank goes down.
The floor carries on into the kitchen without a threshold, and it is finished up to the bottom step ready for the stairs. The base is prepared first so the planks lie flat and the joins stay tight.
