2 photosAmtico herringbone through an open-plan kitchen
Amtico LVT laid in herringbone right through a kitchen and dining space, tight to the island and the doorways.
Big kitchen extensions are often the room a whole renovation is built around, so the floor has to hold its own next to the units. Herringbone LVT gives the look of a timber floor while coping with spills, dropped pans and heavy traffic.
In a room with an island, the pattern is set out so the island sits square to it and the cuts round the plinths are even on every side. The new extension slab and the old floor are brought to one level before laying, so there is no ridge where old meets new.
