Herringbone LVT through a kitchen and lounge

This floor runs from the kitchen straight into the lounge, so the pattern was set out once for the whole space instead of room by room. That way there is no break or change of direction where the kitchen ends.

The blocks are cut in tight round the island and the kitchen plinths, and the edges are finished under the skirting. The base underneath is prepared and smoothed first so the floor sits flat and stays quiet underfoot.
