Where a floor steps up, safety matters most at the edges. Each step is covered in the same slip-resistant vinyl and finished with a nosing so the edge is easy to see and gives a firm grip.
On the flat, the vinyl goes down in sheets with the seams heat welded, and it is finished neatly to the tiled areas and handrail fixings.
