15 photosPattern-laid LVT through a bar and club
Wood-effect LVT laid in a parquet pattern through the bar, booths and walkways, with entrance mats set flush in brass trims and nosed edges on every step.
Safety vinyl is the floor for kitchens, washrooms, clinics and anywhere that gets wet. It has a slip-resistant surface built into it, and when it is fitted properly it forms a single sealed sheet that water cannot get under.
That sealing comes from two things. The seams between sheets are heat welded with a matching rod, so they become part of the floor instead of a join. And the vinyl is coved: formed up the wall on a cove former and finished under a capping strip, so there is no corner between floor and wall for water or dirt to sit in.
The base has to be smooth and dry before any of this happens, so the subfloor is prepared and tested first. Sheet vinyl shows everything underneath it.
