15 photosPattern-laid LVT through a bar and club
Wood-effect LVT laid in a parquet pattern through the bar, booths and walkways, with entrance mats set flush in brass trims and nosed edges on every step.
A dental practice needs floors that feel calm and welcoming for patients but stand up to steady foot traffic every day. Carpet tile suits the corridors and stairs: it is quiet underfoot, hard wearing, and if one tile is ever damaged it can be lifted out and replaced on its own instead of re-carpeting the whole area.
Tiles are set out from the centre of each space so the cuts at the walls are even, and laid on a tackifier that holds them firmly in place but still lets a single tile come up later. Laying them in a set direction, or quarter-turned, keeps the pile looking even under the lights.
Stairs take the most wear in any building, so every step is finished with a metal nosing. It protects the carpet edge where feet land, gives a firm grip, and makes the edge of each step easy to see, which matters in a building used by the public.
